This illustration is inspired by Fujii Kaze’s song “Hana.” The suited man represents the “ego,” while the little floral-robed figure symbolizes the “inner self”: innocent, pure, and cherished.
He holds the little figure close to his chest, with a flower in his hands, echoing the lyrics: “I’m going to find the flower inside of me.” Inspired by the music video’s contrasting figures, this artwork speaks of cherishing the “inner self” while acknowledging that both the “ego” and the “true self” can coexist and are equally precious.
